Great game! Loved playing it, was really funny. :)

PuffballsUnited responds:

Thanks!

Cool game, I had a lot of fun with it.

To be honest...I had quite a lot of trouble with this game. I had to resort to a lot of "mix that with this" over and over again, and "use this item on that person" over and over again. Not a lot of options were readily apparent to me. Could just be me though, never know.

Also, some of the items were not that noticeable to click... I resorted to tabbing through the game to find what I could click, lol. Again, though, could just be (I'm not very good at these games lol).

But still, I played--almost to the end--and had fun with it. I liked the game's atmosphere, and I liked the voice acting and in general just the whole game itself!

(*might be spoilers*)
Near the end though, I had the unfortunate mishap of experiencing a bug... It was almost near the end, where I need to find a new look for the Elvis zombie to find a chin for Randall. I went to the sweatshop and picked up some hair, but I accidentally clicked on the blasted side ad on the sides of the Newgrounds website... So, I navigated away from the page. Luckily the game autosaves, but when I came back, I found that I didn't have the hair in my inventory! By the time I realized this, I was already in the bar. I tried to go back to the sweatshop, but the option to go back there wasn't there any more! The location had disappeared.

So, unfortunate bug. :( Prevented me from finishing the game. But, oh well. I liked the game's humor and atmosphere, and enjoyed playing it overall, and I didn't even know this was a TV series. And, I like these kinds of games, albeit not being the best at solving its puzzles. Great game!

(Also, at the beginning where Randall says hi to Mark, was that a The Room reference? xD)

ClickShake responds:

Sorry about that game save bug! That type of issue is harder to find when testing initially.

It could be a reference to The Room, I'm not sure! The writers might have stuck that in there, but I hadn't seen The Room myself so I wouldn't know.

Great game. Very fun. Visuals and music were very pleasing. The challenge was also just perfect. The difficulty lied in coordinating yourself with both screens and solving jumping puzzles, rather than hard-to-make jumps.

Perfect.

whileworking responds:

Yeah, I think it's very important to avoid such 'hard-to-make jumps'... this is something that worked in the past, but not nowadays because it'd be way too frustrating!

Cool, kept me entertained.

It starts off slow--scraping by with your RP with barely enough to afford anything. Seven new items to buy, research notes required, and more abilities to afford, with only 50 RP. What to do?

But after getting familiar with how things work, things start picking up. Pump one bonus into RP Bonus, and then quickly farm RP by getting all reactions with the Pistol and Stick is a quick jump start, for example. Discover Aggressive reactions for more RP. Soon you're well over your 500 cap.

And as events unfold you get quite immersed in the story. Become more engrossed to triggering reactions with the zombies. Soon enough you're addicted and hooked.

Great graphics and animations, and great sound and voice acting quality.

This was a cool game with a cool concept. Not near to beating it as of typing this and I look forward to finishing it.

Evil-Dog responds:

Thank you man, it's good to hear you're enjoying the ride.

THIS GAME IS AWESOME! XD

Oh goodness, I can't say how stoked I was when I saw this on the front page. I enjoyed and laughed at the first two series, and this third game proved just the same.

The selections and choices you could go with were always funny and unexpected. The dry humor on many of the fails were just hilarious, too. XD And references and easter eggs always ingeniously placed.

There isn't really much to say about this game, it's funny and enjoyable.

PuffballsUnited responds:

I'm glad you're a fan! :)

Nice game.

Nice game, I had fun with it. Lotsa different endings, and I nabbed me some cheap medals. :p

Also,

"Wow... That was the lamest thing I've ever seen. The animator must have gotten REALLY lazy or something. I mean honestly, that was probably the dumbest FAIL I've seen in this entire movie! So anyways, what do you think about the movie so far? Enjoying it? It's taken a while, and as I'm typing this it has yet to be completed. I doubt you'll be able to read this far down unless you figure out a way to pause or do some other sneaky thing. Laaaammmeee!"

:D

PuffballsUnited responds:

Nice.

Nice game! :)

Had fun, great AI.

But it did get a bit boring, with no music. The animations were cool also. xD

But, I read the chess piece history, and you said that referring to the horse piece as a knight is plain wrong. That is incorrect.

"The knight is a piece in the game of chess, representing a knight (armoured cavalry). It is normally represented by a horse's head, leading some to refer to it informally as a 'horse'."

It is perfectly fine referring that chess piece as a knight. Just clearing up some history here.

RatherRandomReality responds:

We all know it's a knight, but it's a horse in this game, because it's just the animal without a guy on top of it.

Nice! Liked it, BEGINNING TO END!

I thought this game was really, really good. It kept me entertained - through the WHOLE THING! In games like these, where the guns that you "unlock" keep getting more awesome-er and addicting, I usually get turned off by the boring weapon you get in the beginning, and really feel like quitting the game.

But this game! It hooked me in from the start.

I also really liked how you utilize ALL your weapons, that is of course you don't keep one gun buffed up. First time I beat this game was by using the Face Spawners and the Converters, once I ran through all of those ammo, I used the shotgun, out of ammo, machine gun, then to the pistol default, and face the bazooka for any tight pinches. This game really depends on all the different weapons.

The extra difficulty was also a nice extra. Since the game was short and sweet, an extra playthrough is fine by anyone, unlike some other games where the "extra difficulty at the end of the game" made you play through the whole two-hour game AGAIN.

Bluntly, the game was easy. The extra difficulty, was not. Just that normal difficulty wasn't enough, that wouldn't be fun, no challenge.

I loved this game. So organized, fun, and addicting.

Arkuni responds:

Really helpful!
Thanks a lot mate.

Keep your eye out for my next game, it should be right up your alley.

PUREAWESUMCAKES

I had tons of fun with this game. Fast paced, tons of characters for the game to never get old, not to mention they're perfectly balanced, and tons of modes. Quite fun and entertaining.

Although one thing I saw, I'm not sure if you'll even pay attention to this review, or you'll change the game anymore, but one thing just kept bugging me.

The gradual damage decrease. If you spam a move, it gradually gets weaker and weaker. Now, this is a perfect system to be implemented to avoid spammers who use the same move over and over again, but in Survival mode, it puts quite a dent in your effectiveness.

So if you're up to still tweaking the game, and you just happened to read this review, may I suggest an item pickup that "refreshes" all moves?

Other than this, which didn't affect the score at all, this game is great, and could be one of the best games on Newgrounds. :]

NegativeONE responds:

If I recall correctly, all damage dampening on used moves is lifted after each kill in survival, but it's too long ago to be sure. That's certainly a concern I was aware of though, so I'm tempted to say it was addressed.
